Longtime Vail Restaurant Gets Makeover
A favorite Vail restaurant, around since 1974, recently changed ownership and received a makeover. New ownership does not mean a change in charm or quality, however. The new Alpenrose is as good as the old. Freshly baked European pastries, snacks, soups, and entrees will all please the fussiest of palates. Vail Village is known for great dining options and Alpenrose is a favorite option.
The new owners of the Alpenrose are no strangers to operating a European dining experience having opened Almresi in 2017. Almresi quickly became a Vail dining staple and it is only natural that the family expanded to its newest restaurant, the Alpenrose. No Vail ski vacation is complete without a trip to both locations!
The Alpenrose is open for Lunch and Dinner and is a great spot for a little après ski as well. Dinner showcases everything from foie gras bratwurst to schnitzel. Of course there are salads, fondue, and raclette as well! Whether you are a visitor or a local you are certain to enjoy the food and the atmosphere at this favorite Vail restaurant.
